Welcome my blog. I’m new to this, but far more comfortable on the business end of a camera.
I’ve been capturing weddings, people, live music and landscapes professionally since 2000. I particularly enjoy photographing weddings as each celebration tends to provide its own unique challenges, not least being able to gel with the couple and ensure a record of their day which reflects their personalities and style. Living in the beautiful county of Shropshire goes a long way to making that task very easy.
I’m based in Bridgnorth, a beautiful old market-town on the banks of the Severn, which is surrounded by stunning countryside chock full of ancient churches, grand country houses, renovated castles and quaint inns and hostelries, so locations are never less than inspiring. I’ve had the pleasure of working at a host of venues including: The Old Vicarage and Davenport House in Worfield, Madeley Court near Telford, the art-deco styled Long Mynd Hotel at Church Stretton, Blakelands Country House at Bobbington, Six Ashes to name but a few.
