Have had an eventful June with a great conference shoot in Birmingham for the Exporta Group, and a brilliant wedding (assisted by Sean Fairall) in Morville and Alveley last week. Some down-time beckons this weekend, though how relaxing 3 days at the Glastonbury Festival will be remains to be seen.
Perfect weather for a bank holiday weekend kicked in at a wedding shoot with Sean (Emotion Studios) on Friday, 3rd May at Moxhull Hall near Sutton Coldfield. A very enjoyable day with an outdoor ceremony and guests enjoying drinks in the gardens prior to the evening meal (enough to fill you until Bank Holiday Monday!)
I’m heading off to assist Innes, my wife, with her May Pole event at Morville Flower Weekend at Morville Hall in a few hours, and will use the time to scout St Gregory the Great and surrounds for picture opps come Molly and Ed’s wedding on Friday 21st June.
Forecast fair, kit prepped – looking forward to shooting a wedding with Sean at Moxhull Hall in a few hours.
Geared up and ready to roll for tomorrow’s wedding at Patshull Park Golf Hotel. The weather forecast is typically springlike, but with any luck showers will give way to some lovely bright spells.
RAIDS are groaning under the weight of card transfers. Claire and Paul’s wedding at Delbury Hall was a fabulous event to cover with a bright, brisk day and stunning locations aplenty around the Coach House and Hall.
I’m sure Claire and Paul and their guests will be partying on late into the night, as for me it’s bed once the last card is transferred and back-ups are running.
Seems the seasons may be turning at last. Today looks like it will still retain a measure of last week’s wintry wind (snow still sitting on the clees between Bridgnorth and Ludlow) but its set to be bright and dry, so shooting Claire and Paul’s wedding at Delbury will encompass the beautiful grounds and scenery which surround the Coachhouse.
Five years to the day since Nathan and Claire tied the knot at Rowton Castle.
Best wishes to you both for many more happy and rewarding years together.
Stuart and Claire’s wedding day at Highley and Patshull Golf Hotel proved to be a classic event to photograph.
Due to falling snow and biting winds group images were captured in the beautiful spaces of St Mary’s Church (big thanks to the helpful vicar and verger), but loads of candid images were grabbed as guests and VIPs hurried between venues and vehicles.
Spring 2013 Wedding season is under way. Can’t say I expected to see snow for the second shoot of the year, but there you go. Should make for some interesting images so long as wellies, coats and hip-flasks are added to the kit bag.
Enjoying a morning of initial sorts on images from Friday’s Albright Hussey wedding. David & Gillian look amazing against a backdrop of autumn colour and don’t betray any hint of the cold westerly blowing in during the shoot.
